What does the New Racer school involve. I tried to look it up online but could not find any info on it. Is it school on Saturday then first race the next day. Do you know what the cutoff times are. Never been to the Big Track but the last track day at Buttonwillow on the 2nd of Nov I was running in the 2:16's. Control riders wanted to bump me up to advance but I wanted to ride with my friends in the "B" group.

(NRS) New Racer School involves Class Time with an Instructor and Track Time with the Instructor. Cut-Off time at the big track is 2:00 which is easy to pass.
Your performance at Buttonwillow cant be compared to Big Track Willow Springs because Big Track is much faster. I say do the NRS next month and let WSMC decide whether you can or can not race. Im only a Novice with much to learn. What do I know about Racing? ;D
Hey, I was at Buttonwillow Nov 2, which bike were you riding???

Oh OK, Now I remember. I rode with you and 1904 Riders for 1 session in B Group before I stepped down with the rest of my Buddies to C Group because there were only 2 of us in B Group and Trackdays are no fun if you arent riding with your buddies.
See you at WSMC Feb or Mar!!!

Which Organization gave you the 240 Number Plate? -Cuz if youve got Number Plates lower than 500-999, then you more than likely hold a Provisional Expert, Expert or Pro Racing License. Obviously, Im a Novice Competition License holder with 835 Number Plate. If you hold a 2-digit Number Plate, youre definitely Holding an Expert or Pro license. Some exceptions though are Neil Hodgson (100) and Ben Bostrom (155), both AMA Pro Riders. They decided to keep their 3-digit number plates from their early years in racing.

Which Organization gave you the 240 Number Plate? No organization. Got bored with the all black look for my fairings, so I decided to add number plates to them.

Oh ok.
Start thinking of numbers that have meaning to you now if you are planning on racing next year so you can at least reserve and pay for your number so that number you so choose will be available to you and only you once you take the New Racer School.
Pick 500-999. Mine doesnt have any real meaning. my email address is itr835@yahoo so I chose 835, haha! That wasnt hard at all. ;D

Got 2 other guys to go with me either Feb or March for the New Racer school. Can't wait. For now I will just start working on all the safety wiring that needs to be done. Read the rules book and it said to safety wire all bolts that have fluids behind it. Also the axle nut and fork pinch bolts. Is there anything else that I missed.

Lock wire All the clamps on the radiator hoses including the radiator cap, your oil fill cover and brake lines nuts that connect your brake lines to the calipers.
Do Not Use coolant, use Water Wetter. Make sure you have HH rated brake pads. Make sure that your bottom fairing does Not have any holes just in case your bike leaks radiator fluid or if your engine leaks oil.
Thats all I can remember for now.
Bring out all your friends who are willing to race. The more the merrier!

Once we all get started racing, you'll all realuze that it will eventually be cheaper than Trackdays that cost around $140 per Trackday. With racing at WSMC, you have all day saturday to spend on the track which will only cost around $70 and then $70 again per race you choose to join on Sunday and for Novices, you can do your Novice Middleweight or if you choose, you can also sign up and Pay another $70 to race against Novice Heavyweights which run 651cc and above, meaning, 750cc's will also be in the mix up at that race. So for $140, you get 2 days at the track rather than 1.
