Anyone hear rumors of Ducati pulling out of WSBK for 2011? Rumors say that Ducati is preparing a Frameless replacement for the current 1198 to be ready by 2012, so the Factory Team is pulling out from WSBK in 2011. Ducati is also said to be getting away from their Trellis frame design for this replacement This Frameless concept isnt new (Google Britten V1000) but its a big deal to Ducati if they give it the green light. It is said that they have already tested a few of these concepts in MotoGP at Jerez so their work in implementing it to Road Bikes (the rumored 1198 replacement) shouldnt be too far away. Anyone care to chime in? (gonna search online for info to support what i just wrote)

Here's a "blueprint" of the Frameless Carbon Fiber Semi-Monocoque Ducati GP9 used/tested in some MotoGP rounds. Other iterations were Aluminum... The 2011 ZX-10R and 2012 Ducati 1198 replacement will be duking out it in WSBK for sure
