you get a 3" plastic trophy and a set of tires if and only if you fill out contigency forms from your tire suppliers prior to your race or races on race day sometimes, you also get free gear or heavy discount on parts/gear from from your sponsors, if you have sponsors cycle gear does rider support which warrants 20% off their cost on things they sell, this is before their mark up for profit and taxes you thinkin about racing? lets get julez set up soon now that his 600rr has been sold! ;D

if you wanna race, as long as you have the time and money to do it, you should! its club racing so it isnt anything serious. it gets your feet wet in racing and youll learn a track track etiquette and a whole new world of competition but its all fun, its a steep learning curve and great learning experience the serious racing doesnt begin until you get an expert license in club racing running in the formula classes. everything else is in good fun, hence no money involved in wins, just bragging rights and plastic trophies hahaha ;D
wanna do yamaha owner's trackday through trackdaz.com june 7? $75 at willow springs big track. it will be good intro for you at that track if you havent been there already because thats where most of the races are held for wsmc, some are held at streets of willow thats why the chicane after the back straight from the bowl has been paved over

I dont think Im racing this season Im in San Jose and its quite a haul to run to Willow Springs after I get off school on Friday at 10pm and make Saturday morning Practice...just not feasable because I wont get any rest and I wont have any time to prep the bikes etc etc I hope Julez gets to race soon so we have someone to watch and cheer on ;D Most races last 8 laps because WSMC has to accomodate 15-17 races on Sundays. Only the guys with Expert or Pro license get 20 laps I think...anyway, when youre racing, if you arent fit, 8 laps will burn you out halfway through. Save money, prep your bike and work on cardio so you can race next year
