i have done another trackday yesterday at BRC, tested out my new rear shock (WP 4618, same shock as Ten Kate use) & refreshed the forks with new oil (Motul 15-20) & it was the best thing i have ever done since i learned to tune the stock suspension.
the rear felt more planted, i was gassing earlier & harder than usual & the tire didn't budge at all, didn't run wide, it always held my chosen line really well, also the tires looked great (Pilot Power), it didn't have any melting on it even though i was riding faster than some of the novice racers here on Diablo Supercorsas & Ohlins TTX shocks & cartridges. the forks soaked up the bumps real good thanks to the fresh fork oil & new settings, felt a little wobble under hard accel but the steering damper took care of it.
will be upgrading to .85kg/mm fork springs (Ohlins, HRC or K-Tech), stock is .81kg/mm, upgrading to K-Tech 20SSRK valves as well but if i'm lucky i'll find a used Ohlins cartridge somewhere on ebay just like what i did with my WP shock.
suspension upgrades/tuning will shave off more seconds than any hp upgrade you can buy.

Im glad somebody gets it WooHoo!!! yeah, being able to pass liter bikes on the outside & on the straights bcoz you're carrying more corner & exit speed than they do gives you a sense of great satisfaction. the only hp mod i have is just a petty slip-on, no PCIII, the engine is basically stock. allow me to share pics of the shock i worked so hard to get. awesome, is all that i can say for this shock. remember, hp mods only make you faster on a straight line while suspension mods will make you go faster everywhere.

bossing magkakano to dyan? kasi hindi ko kaya ohlins eh $1300 dito rear shock TTX siguro yan kaya ganyan price, wala kasi sila TTX para sa 03-04, kahit nga yung 46PRXLS di ko kaya sa $1000 kaya naghanap na lang ako ng used. sa ebay UK ko nakita yung WP shock, inabot ng 320UKP (25K pesos at the time) pati shipping pero i had to go through hell just to find & get this dream shock of mine. been looking around ebay for 2 years at ng makita ko di ko na pinakawalan. yung seller ng shock sa UK lang nagsiship, buti na lang yung British riding buddy ko may anak sa UK so we called the guy who sells the shock to ship it to Richard's daughter & when she received the shock she shipped it to us. 8 days later when i was at his house dumating sa post office ang shock ko, tawa ng tawa buddy ko, Christmas came early this year kasi para daw ako bata na may bagong laruan, di ko mabitawan yung shock. that night i washed the shock & broke out the tools, a few hours later nakakabit na sya.

Pic can be found on page 3 here: flipmoderiders.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pics&action=display&thread=698&page=3I just got my fork internals done specifically for me and Ive only got a slip-on pipe on my otherwise stock Race Bike.
