Craziness! Was this Shaun's doing? I talked to him yesterday and he said that I could expect some excess fluid to show. He said to wipe it down and ride it home and see if fluid still shows. I got home and there was still some fluid but not as much. I am going to give it another day before I remove the forks and take it back to him.

There shouldnt be any excess fluid if: 1) Every drop of the Old fluid was properly drained 2) Properly measured amount of NEW fluid was added into the forks **Having a high level of fluid will cause a hydraulic lock when braking into corners. This will prevent your forks from compressing and allowing your front suspension to work as it was designed to do. This will make it hard to tip the bike in and if you arent careful, this could result into a crash. Take the forks in ASAP and dont take a chance. I do like Shaun's work and I stand behind the quality he puts in but he's also human and he may have gotten complacent since he does it 'all the time' and may have overlooked a few things, who knows. Just take it back so he can fix it.

No more leaks for me. Time to start looking for a new shock to balance it out. If I can't find one for a decent price, I probably will just get my stock shock resprung and revalved.

I was going to say, just go ahead and install the 25mm kit para less labor. Pero ikaw naman pala ang magkakabit. Pero fork oil and seal din yun. Tagulan pa naman...

Tagulan pa naman... yup ako lang gumagawa ng bike ko, mahal magpagawa sa iba. wala ako budget pambili ng cart kit sa ngayon, maybe a couple of years from now i guess, settle muna ako sa reshimming ng stock fork valves, pinagaaralan ko na talaga maging serious suspension tuner. pinalitan ko na ito ng fork oil although i did reuse the stock oil seal & bushings kasi matino pa naman at walang leak ng ibinaba ko. mahal din oil seals at bushings, next time n lang siguro pag dumating na Ohlins valves ko. ipost ko yung pics ng disassembled fork cartridge ko once i get my springs.
